Student Scholarship Information
Student Eligibility
As part of our recruitment effort, DREAM offers scholarships to candidates who identify as a Person of Color or an individual who supports and/or advocates for marginalized groups. If you have satisfactory experience in a DREAM member district as a student, you may qualify for consideration if all of the criteria below are met:

You are pursuing or plan to pursue a degree in education;

You are enrolled in college and can provide written proof that you have been accepted into the College of Education and are pursuing coursework to obtain teacher licensure from an ODE accredited college or university;

You are a graduating senior from a member district high school with the intent to pursue teaching as a career.
How to Apply
Your application must include:

A completed application form. Applications available on www.diversifyingeducators.org

An official high school or college transcript, uploaded to this application.

Three letters of reference, one of which must be from an employee from a DREAM district, uploaded to this application that comment on your commitment to teaching and experience working with youth.

Graduating high school seniors must submit a letter of acceptance to college/university, as well as a written statement that specifies intent to pursue a teaching license, uploaded to this application.

Recipients announced by May 1, 2025
Awards of up to $2000 may be granted. An individual may receive one scholarship per school year. Applications will be reviewed only once per school year. Deadline for submission is March 31, 2025. Only complete applications will be given consideration.

Staff Scholarship Eligibility

If you have satisfactory experience in a DREAM member district as an employee or student, you may qualify for consideration if at least one of the following criteria are met:

You are currently pursuing or plan to pursue a degree in education;

You have a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in another discipline and are enrolled in a teacher licensure program;

You are currently teaching a career or technical class and working towards a teacher license at a higher education institute;

You are enrolled in college and can provide written proof that you have been accepted into the College of Education and are pursuing coursework to obtain teacher licensure from an ODE accredited college or university;
